As with all nonprofit organizations, finding the money to support our services is an ongoing endeavor. Our funds come from a variety of local, state, federal, and independent sources. Our major support comes from the County of Sonoma, Mental Health Services department – your tax dollars at work. Part of the fiduciary responsibility of any public nonprofit organization like CSN is to leverage those funds (i.e. to make them work for us to create more dollars to provide a broad-based, comprehensive service delivery system).

It is important to keep abreast of all the funding sources available to us and to make application to programs that will enhance our services and provide operating capital.

As a public entity we also have a responsibility to the community to spend tax dollars wisely and efficiently. To that end, we look for support from the community in the form of volunteer services and in-kind materials donated by individuals and local businesses.

In 2005 we created an endowment fund through the Sonoma County Community Foundation that will provide us with annual interest in perpetuity.  Please consider a tax deductible donation to this endowment.  Contact us for more informaiton and check back periodically for updates on our progress..
